Trudrop Privacy Policy (App)
Effective date: October 28, 2025
Dotchi, LLC dba Crescent Garden Company, a Florida limited liability company (“Company,” “Crescent Garden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose information when you use the Trudrop mobile application (the “App”).
This policy applies to information we collect in the App and in electronic communications sent through or in connection with the App. This policy does not apply to information collected offline, on other Company apps or websites, or by any third party. Because Trudrop includes webviews (Shop, Blog, and Dealer Locator) that display pages from our website, the data practices of those pages are also governed by the website’s own privacy notices (including cookie choices presented there).
If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not download, install, access, or use the App. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time as described in Changes to This Policy below.
1) Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 16 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us (see Contact Information).
2) What This Policy Covers (Scope)
Trudrop provides a basic home screen and three webview experiences:
-
Shop (loads pages from our website store),
-
Blog (loads pages from our website blog),
-
Dealer Locator (loads our locator page and may request location access).
This Policy covers:
-
Data the App may collect or process; and
-
Data collected via webviews while you interact with our website inside the App.
Third-party websites and services reached via links or embeds in webviews are not controlled by us and have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies.
3) Information We Collect
A. App-Level Data (outside of webviews)
We design the App to collect minimal data necessary to operate and secure it.
-
Device & usage data: app version, device type, operating system, general interaction events, performance diagnostics, and error logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the App.
-
Crash/analytics tools: None at the app layer by default. (If we later enable crash reporting or analytics—e.g., Crashlytics, Sentry, Firebase—we will update this Policy and, where required, obtain consent.)
We do not access your contacts, SMS, photos, microphone, or precise location unless you grant permission (see Permissions below).
B. Data Collected via Webviews (your website inside the App)
When you use Shop, Blog, or Locator, you are interacting with our website within the App. The website may collect:
-
HTTP/connection data (e.g., IP address, user-agent, timestamps, pages viewed).
-
Cookies & similar technologies for session management, preferences, analytics, and—if enabled—marketing. Cookie banners/preferences presented on the website apply inside the webviews.
-
Account/checkout data you submit on the website (e.g., name, email, billing/shipping addresses, order details). Payment information is processed by our third-party payment processors on the website and is not stored in the App.
-
Locator data: the locator page may request your device location (via browser prompt in the webview) to show nearby dealers.
C. Information You Provide
If you contact us (e.g., email, support forms on the website), we collect the information you provide such as your name, email, phone, and message content.
4) Cookies and Similar Technologies (Webviews)
The App itself does not set cookies; however, the webviews load our website, which may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies for:
-
Essential operations (e.g., session, security),
-
Preferences,
-
Analytics/performance, and
-
Marketing/retargeting (if enabled).
You can manage cookie settings through controls provided on the website (e.g., a cookie banner) and through your device’s in-app browser settings. Where supported, we honor applicable browser/OS privacy signals presented on the website experience.
5) Permissions
-
Location (optional): If you grant permission, your device location may be used only to power the Dealer Locator experience. You can revoke location access in your device settings at any time, but some locator features may not function.
-
Push notifications: Not used by default. (If we later introduce notifications—for order updates, promotions, or app updates—we will request permission and update this Policy.)
-
Other permissions: None required for normal use of the current App features.
We do not access a permission unless it is necessary for a feature you choose to use.
6) How We Use Information
We use information to:
-
Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the App and webview experiences;
-
Facilitate browsing, store locator results, and website interactions performed in webviews;
-
Process orders and fulfill services initiated on the website (including customer support and communications);
-
Monitor and protect security, prevent fraud/abuse, debug, and ensure service quality;
-
Comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms.
We may also contact you about products or services that may interest you in accordance with applicable law and your choices.
7) Disclosure of Information
We may disclose aggregated or de-identified information without restriction. We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide:
-
To our subsidiaries and affiliates;
-
To service providers (e.g., hosting, website/ecommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, payment processors such as Stripe/PayPal/other, customer support tools, cloud infrastructure, security and anti-fraud vendors) bound by contractual obligations to use information only as instructed;
-
In connection with a merger, sale, restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business;
-
To third parties to market their products or services if you have consented to these disclosures;
-
To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it and as disclosed at the time of collection;
-
With your consent;
-
To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, customers, or others (including fraud prevention and credit risk reduction).
Do Not Sell/Share (CPRA): We do not sell personal information. We also do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising via the App. The website loaded in webviews may use advertising or analytics cookies subject to your website cookie choices.
8) Your Choices
-
Cookies & tracking (webviews): Manage via the website’s cookie banner/preferences and your device/browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect website features in webviews.
-
Location: Control in your device settings. Blocking precise location may limit locator functionality.
-
Marketing communications: Follow unsubscribe instructions in emails or contact us to opt out.
-
Third-party interest-based ads: See industry opt-outs (e.g., NAI/DAA) for browsers where applicable to website experiences.
9) Accessing, Correcting, or Deleting Your Information
If you have a website account, you may review and update certain information in your account profile. You may also email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you provided. We may not accommodate a request to change information if doing so would violate law or cause the information to be incorrect, and we may retain certain records as required by law.
10) Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. However, transmission over networks and storage systems cannot be guaranteed 100% secure. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials used on the website.
11) Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Specific retention periods may vary by data type and jurisdiction (e.g., transaction records may be retained for tax and accounting requirements).
12) International Data Transfers; Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses and UK-approved mechanisms) for transfers. Where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases include performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., security, fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (e.g., cookies, precise location), and legal obligations.
13) California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under California law (e.g., access, deletion, correction, limitation of use of sensitive personal information, and the right to opt out of selling/sharing). We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising via the App. To exercise rights, contact us (see Contact Information). California “Shine the Light” requests (Civil Code §1798.83) may also be submitted to the email below.
14) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we treat personal information, we will post the new policy in the App (and on our website where appropriate) and update the effective date. Please review this Policy periodically for updates.
